I'm Bastiaan Reurink, founder of Group Gift. I love building products that make life's special moments easier to celebrate. With a background in fintech, I'm all about creating simple experiences that help people spend less time organizing and more time making someone smile.

At Group Gift, our team takes care of all the complicated stuff behind the scenes, so organizing a group gift feels as easy as sending a message in a group chat. Outside of work, you'll usually find me surfing (the real kind, not the internet).

Ilya Bershadskyi

🎉 Makes sure the tech works before the candles are lit.

I'm Ilya, co-founder and CTO of Group Gift. My job is making sure every contribution, payment, and surprise gift works exactly as it should, even when dozens of people are pitching in at once.

Before Group Gift, I built large-scale software systems for some of Europe's biggest companies. These days, I enjoy solving a different kind of challenge: making it incredibly easy for friends, families, and colleagues to celebrate together online.

When I'm not on the clock, I'm attempting to communicate with my houseplants in three different languages. The experiment continues, but the Dutch fern still seems the happiest.

I'm Jane, part of the development team at Group Gift, where I help turn new ideas into features that make organizing group gifts simple and enjoyable.

Although I originally studied economics, I quickly discovered a passion for programming. Now I get to combine technology with creating products that help people celebrate life's biggest moments together.

I love working at Group Gift because I can see the direct impact of everything we build. Outside of work, I enjoy long walks by the beach and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.

Nazarii Volytskyi

I'm Nazar, the Mobile Developer at Group Gift. I make sure our app feels smooth, fast, and effortless, so contributing to a group gift is just a few taps away.

When I'm not writing code, you'll probably find me exploring new cafés, wandering around the city, or searching for the perfect cup of coffee. As you can probably tell, I'm a man of few words.

Licensed payment provider

All payments are processed by Online Payment Platform (OPP), a Dutch payment institution that powers payments for major European platforms. Contributions arrive via trusted methods like iDEAL | Wero, Bancontact, and SEPA.

Dutch banking supervision

OPP is licensed and supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central bank. Pooled money never touches our own accounts; it is held safely by OPP under Dutch and European financial regulations until payout.

Verified payouts

Before any payout, the recipient verifies their identity and links their own bank account. The full amount then goes directly to their verified account, so the money always ends up with the right person.
